Erica Bonser
Kate is a visionary, a leader, and a stand for all things sustainability. She is conscious of her daily impact and how it directly effects the environment and those around her. During my time working with Kate (through her influence) we were able to create new processes to ensure that all business practices were lead through the lens of sustainability, we created new roles for employees so that they could make bigger impacts throughout their day, and we inspired and collaborated with other businesses to share our sustainable best practices. Kate has been not only a positive influence and source of knowledge for the team, brand, and business but a tremendous impact on myself and how I choose my impact daily. I would highly recommend Kate for any position that she is going after as she puts her all into everything that she does. I am open to be contacted further for her recommendation.
Doreen Stabinsky
Kate did excellent work in my courses at COA. She was enthusiastic about learning new things and enjoyed working with others in the pursuit of knowledge. One very impressive memory of Kate was her initiative to organize a group study with several other students in Arabic. She has a very positive outlook on life and would be a great contribution to any team. I highly recommend her.

Hearing Other Voices (HOV) worked to give voice to those who are most often kept silent, through an internet based platform that allowed all women to share their stories, and a database for students and policymakers alike. Through multimedia interviews, this social enterprise attempted to bare witness to women's lives, in order to do this we looked beyond the world she sees; we sought to understand how she sees herself in her world. World wide there are many organizations whose main goal is to relate women’s stories. Though appropriate to the cause they do not offer the freedom of expression without analysis. Hearing Other Voices removed the lens that often clouds or distorts; making their stories not their own. There are many creative ways organizations are helping us hear women's views and as wonderful as projects like this are, there needs to be a place where the voices of women from all cultures can be heard in a moment. By using questions that were designed to be open and impartial and giving women the option to conduct their own interviews, HOV ensured that what was gained was truly their voice. Hearing Other Voices worked to enter the intersection between library and internet hosting and websearch portal industries.
