Anne and I worked together during an incredibly busy period of international acquisitions (25 companies in 2 years, 2005-7) of diagnostics sites including independent, successful businesses Unipath, Biosite, Binax and Biostar. Anne led the mergers and acquisition team by selecting a well-balanced, multi-talented group of individuals who were responsible for tactical aspects of the acquisition including initial due diligence, technical (both development and manufacturing) regulatory and quality and logistics, to ensure that products acquired in transfer were robust and compliant with legal, market and customer requirements.
