I came into contact with Janaka during my tenure at Sumathi Holdings. Janaka was working as the Human Resources Manager of one of the main sectors of the business. I had the exposure to experience how tough his role was amidst the higher rate of employee turnover in that sector due to the work nature of the business itself. Other than that, there were challenges to maintaining the minimum number of required carders across island-wide locations, keeping them up to date with the knowledge and skills required for the positions, etc. Janaka, with his limited resources, was handling these situations very well.
