I worked with Nina for almost 2 years at the Tech Incubator at Queens College. Nina is one of the most hard working and dedicated people I know. She has always gone above and beyond for her clients and job. While I was working at the Tech Incubator, Nina was known as the jack of all trades, she would learn and adapt to any task given to her. Nina was also in charge of operations and client support for my team. She changed the overall workflow my team was doing and increased our production significantly. She was able to identify weak points and immediately suggest changes that helped everyone on the team. I would highly recommend Nina for any operations and administrative position.

I am incredibly happy to be able to write this recommendation for Nina Lopez-Ortiz. I first met Nina during my time at the Queens College Tech Incubator. Nina and I worked in separate teams but our work often overlapped which is where I got to see firsthand her amazing organizational and management skills. I was truly impressed with Nina's ability to manage all the Tech Incubator startup companies while also balancing school and an extremely long daily commute. Nina has an incredible passion for everything she does and always gives her 100% whether it be staying after hours to help a client with any issues they're having or just checking in with members of the incubator just to ask them how their day is going. The best example I can provide of Nina's indispensable nature comes from one night where I and my team found out last minute we would need to host a 'Girls Who Code' session which was originally meant to take part in a different building on campus but had to be changed to the incubator due to a construction issue. Nina looked me in the eye and asked me to give her "one hour", and she would have everything ready. Within an hour the room had been set up to accommodate 30 students, the tech was set up and refreshments and healthy snacks served for the girls. The night was an incredible success and there is no way that we could have done this without Nina's quick thinking. Nina is a valuable asset wherever she goes and a perfect fit for any company looking for a talented office manager.
