I had the privilege of working with Maurica for over 2 years as her Director. She is one of the fiercest, most dedicated, and hard-working individuals I've come across in my professional career. She helped steward our organization through an extremely complicated M&A process and without her aboard there's no way we would have been able to integrate three separate companies into one operating model. Her ability to manage complex projects with minimal oversight is something that will provide to any organization regardless of sector or size. Amongst her greatest accomplishments was consolidating our vendor relationships and generating over $500k in savings by doing so. She ensured that we both maintained positive relationships with all providers, as well as generated significant savings which is no easy feat.
