Proposal Coordinator / Proposal Writer
-
May 2021 - May 2022
As a Proposal Writer I produced written proposal content that is tailored to align with highly specific RFP requirements. This involved carefully reviewing existing content pulled from previous proposal submissions, extracting only the content relevant for the current bid, and refining/adding information where necessary. I leveraged time management and multi-tasking skills to support multiple proposals and proposal sections at the same time to meet the extremely tight, often inflexible deadlines that are prevalent in this line of work. I am especially adept at crafting Management Approach sections based on my Program/Project Management experience. My Proposal Coordinator work involved managing RFIs from start to finish. RFI responses are typically focused on describing corporate capabilities and relevant corporate experience at a high level, and as such are less complex than an RFP response. I also developed a database schema and digital forms to enable quick access to documents so my fellow proposal team members could more easily find and create focused proposal section and past performance writeups for new bids.
