  Design is evolving quickly and we are happy to help design move into new territories by preparing students for the current and future design scene. Research, experimentation and critical approach to social issues are at the core of our view, and my job is to make it happen defining the syllabus, subjects and staff with the school direction, coordinating teachers, internships and international students.

  Teacher of the 3rd course Projects subject. The projects are based on challenges and are usually very open in format, the student defines the goals and elements needed. Challenges sound like "Tell a story that change our percepcion of a social issue" or "redesign an awful experience", and I get things like the Corporate identity for a peaceful citizen-ruled Police or an exquisite funeral ritual. My task is to define exercises, introduce the main areas of graphic design and coach students to acheive their best. It's an honour and a delight :)

  ADG-FAD vice-president and board member. I worked in the Laus Awards team with Xavier Roca, Martí Ferré and Martí Panés and hosted the 2014 and 2015 editions, in which we made two major improvements: - We created the Laus Aporta award, aimed to highlight the design social and economical contributions to society. The award focuses on the impact and not the object itself, and therefore its oriented to create design awareness among press and citizens. Indeed, the press coverage was a success and attracted a new sponsor for the award. - To improve the jurying process and avoid an aesthetics-only judgment we provided information about the context in which the design operates. The texts must be short and are structured with sections like: client brief, requirements, production and distribution.
