● Prepared and subsequently managed budgets of up to £1.5M to establish an organic and regenerative cotton exporting industry in developing countries, particularly Tajikistan.● Led the development of an innovative organic agriculture startup from zero to £1.5M in turnover within two years by building and leading teams in offices across the UK and Central Asia.● Recruited & trained 18 office staff, ten field staff, and 120 farmer families in Tajikistan to convert 1000 hectares preventing the use of 1Mkg of pesticides directly impacting the health of over 1,500 people.● Certified 100 farmer households and three cotton gins in a record one year instead of the regular three years. Certifications include the Global Organic Textile Standard ), European Commission's organic farming (Regulation (EC) No 834/2007), USDA's organic standard (NOP), and Regenerative Farming (Regeneragri by Control Union).● Demonstrated change management abilities through a combination of product innovation (within luxury baby clothing) while executing austerity measures in the face of the global recession, ensuring company survival and post-recession revival.● Oversaw all functions, including Production, Operations, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, to deliver 100s of tons of cotton internationally while ensuring adherence to the standards of European B2B clients.● Communicated and built relationships with internal & external stakeholders, including local government officials, European industry associations, certification bodies, third-party suppliers, farmers, trading companies & fashion brands such as Candiani Denim.● Defining the scope of projects in terms of deliverables, scheduling and budget to ensure a clear shared vision is communicated to all stakeholders at all times in terms of cost, time & quality.

The company manufactures organic and natural cosmetics in Southern Italy to a worldwide customer base. They grow all plants themselves, mainly aloe vera, as well as produce everything in their factory. The administration and sales are in an office based in the same location. Very recommended and high quality products. My internship involved working in the manufacture and production section, farming the various ingredients, as well as administration and sales work in the office. Evolved my skills in sales, administration, manufacturing, teamwork and agriculture. Mind changing experience.
