I had the pleasure of hiring and supervising Jacy during her tenure at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. She was a stellar Program Manager, committed to the organization and the communities she served. Jacy worked with individuals in a variety of capacities in over 110 schools across the state of KY, assisting them in creating healthier school environments. She was extremely dedicated, organized and self-driven. Her relationship skills are second to none, having mobilized local and state stakeholders to provide hands on support, materials and technical assistance to school and district personnel. Jacy has strong communication skills, both verbal and written and is an exceptional presenter. Jacy is a leader, mobilizer, strategic thinker and mission driven.

It was a pleasure getting to know and work with Jacy as a board member on the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs (AFOP). Jacy is a proactive leader, quickly learning program regulations and soliciting the help of the Peer-to-Peer program to help her complete a full SWOT analysis of DOL's National Farmworker Jobs Program grant administered by TOPS. Her interpersonal skills are as strong as her written and communication skills, quickly connecting with other agency directors to mentor her in the field of workforce development which was new to her. Jacy's public health background brings a fresh perspective to the farmworker program and will be beneficial to creating a more comprehensive approach to serving the needs of this population.
