I met Amel at the Luxor African Film Festival were we both were attending a film directing workshop by the internationally renowned Ethiopian director Haile Gramma. During this time I found Amel to be a talented passionate and highly productive film maker, she shared her experience in film making with us and she was always willing to help her colleagues in every way possible to finish their projects. Her film that she shared with us shows a sensitive and deep personality, an eye for details and a true sense of authenticity. I expect to see a lot more of her work in the Future.
