This role sees me providing assistance and event coordination to clients holding exhibitions, conferences, meetings, gala dinners and awards ceremonies at the Royal International Convention Centre located at the Brisbane Showgrounds. I manage all event details and logistics including room allocations, food and beverage requirements, venue set up along with audio visual needs specified by the client. Event Orders are prepared and distributed for each event, to deadlines detailing all client and internal requirements, along with invoicing from first contact through to post event, all completed within Ungerboeck, the Event Business Management System. I envisage this will be a challenging role calling on all my event management experience and skills. I look forward to the future and showcasing my skills and personal attributes. Show less

My role with Events & Venues Rotorua was varied, managing events from a venue perspective from initial client contact to staging. I worked closely with PCOs’, exhibition managers’ and both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure a successful outcome for all involved including, event attendees, delegates, exhibitors, entertainers, sports teams and spectators. Most recently I was based at the Rotorua Energy Event Centre working with corporate, sporting and community based clients, managing events from 12 to 4000 pax, including professional and association conferences, indoor sporting events, meetings, trade shows, weddings, gala dinners and award evenings. Before the Energy Event Centre I was based at the Rotorua Convention Centre managing events such as stage shows at the Civic Theatre, ANZAC Day Civic Memorial Services, Trade Shows, Weddings, Corporate Dinners, small meetings, Local, National and International Rugby Fixtures. Not to forget my role in developing and co-ordinating the Accreditation system for the Raggamuffin Music Festival which has attracted over 20,000 people to the city for the last six years Events and Venues Rotorua provided challenges both professionally and personally and a highlight of my career would have to be the venue management of the 3 x Rugby World Cup games at the Rotorua International Stadium August to September 2011. Moving office to the Stadium for 3 months and working remotely was an invaluable experience and proud of my achievement in that area. I have a sound operational knowledge of Ungerboeck Event Management Software, the Zeacom Desktop phone system, Ticketmaster selling system and the full Microsoft Suite. I hold a current NZ forklift licence, First Aid Certificate, and am a trained Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) and Traffic Controller (TC). Show less
