Project Manager

AEA produces automated lines for assembly, testing and quality control, integration with transport and assembly systems, develop software management and supervisory control for automotive components. I follow, as Project Manager, the projects directly at the customer plants and, as Resident Engineer I have both a technical role and a commercial role. Technical side, I follow the installation, setup and startup of equipment at the customer site, I am responsible to ensure the correct functionality of production line, to train a qualified staff and to monitor time performance. I work with the Quality and Process departments in order to ensure a quickly resolution of production issues, such as scraps. Commercial side, I receive directly from customers new offer requests, and I support my AEA colleagues to study the technical feasibility and to draw up the technical and economic offers.

Manufacturing Responsible

From January 2009, I was responsible of Plant Facility Management and I coordinated a team of eight people who have in charge the activities of maintenance of technological systems, logistics and responsible of workshop activities (CNC, lathes and milling machines). I was also involved in CNC machines programming and production planning.In this role I achieved excellent results in terms of saving thanks to the in sourcing of a lot of activities. Production side, I was in charge of industrialize of the prototype developed from the research and development department. I developed new production processes and I issued the orders for the supply of the assembly and testing lines and finally I followed the test of new lines.

RSPP (Safety manager)

In July 2008 I obtained the qualify as Occupational Health and Safety Management System- OHSMS - (according D.Lgs 81/08) and in Sintesi I was also OHSMS with the responsibility of risk assessment document redaction and training of plant employees.

R&D Project Manager

From 2007 to 2009 I worked in Sintesi SpA, research and development company with focus on mechatronics applied on industrial automation (CNC machines, robots, etc..), Initially I’m in charge of the development and industrialization of a new product (miniature solenoid valve) for the Camozzi SPA customer for which I also developed the assembling and testing process. Thanks to the activities of product design and production processes design, became an international patent, for which I’m one of the invertors.

Manufacturing engineer

From 2004 to 2006 I worked in Siemens VDO Automotive (acquired by Continental company). I worked in the division "high-pressure fuel injectors". I was in charge of the industrialization of new products, from the sampling phase to the series production, first as a process engineer and later as lines responsible. In particular, my tasks were: - Definition of the injector prototype testing processes with the redaction of Control Plan and instructions; - Test of prototype benches of calibration and testing; - Definition of technical specifications for the injector test line; - Market analysis with screening of machine suppliers; - Resident engineer in the company SONPLAS Gmbh for the coordination of the build of production line - Redaction of FMEA with the supplier; - Development of a simulation model of the production line; - Team leaders for the reduce of deviation; - Coordinator of continuous improvement activities; - Support to quality department for all activities of product/process improvement.
