Within one year in Chaordic Mail (product), we – a small team - scaled the system to handle +900% more events. It is still growing, but at the time, the whole architecture had to be rethought. We also had to change it gradually, facing many interesting technological challenges: -- We now handle large-scale behavioral analysis of millions of users per hour, generating, processing and sending huge amounts of e-mail candidates. We do not spam, we send only relevant mail, each crafted individually =) -- All we have done, we have done while operating the systems, it’s infrastructure and “keeping the product flying”. Each system - that initially could only scale vertically – now has its build, deployment and horizontal scaling processes automated. Show less
