The HSG is responsible for the coordination of any work and information transfer regarding ISS systems and payloads between the Flight Control Teams (FCT) of MCC-Moscow, and Mission Control Center-Houston (MCC-H). The HSG primarily provides real-time flight support on console in the Houston Support Room (HSR) at MCC-M. Additionally the HSG provide technical expertise and coordination for Flight Rule development and Russian procedure review. The RSS coordinates and meets regularly with MCC-M personnel to discuss Russian Segment (RS) system performance and operation. The RSS discusses anomalies, in accordance with Operations Integration Procedures (OIPs), between MCC-M and MCC-H, and provides lead on verification of U.S. generated drawing and system brief information by reviewing these products with the Russian experts.The RSS maintains operational knowledge of activities and systems status on all segments of the ISS. Reviews and responds to all pertinent Flight Notes generated by MCC-H and distribution to members of the HSG and Russian specialists as needed. Relays information from the MCC-H Flight Director and FCT to Russian specialists, as well as information contained in procedures, Flight Rules, and OIPs. Show less
