Upon completion of macro and microeconomics, I was nominated to be an economics tutor. I used the position to encourage students to pursue economics to undecided majors. Most students coming to this tutoring service had questions regarding the complexity of concepts within economics. I used simple study tricks such as mnemonics, short stories, drawings and repetition that had helped me in the classes as a student. Each week I worked between 3-12 hours helping 60+ students over 2 years.

Global Business Perspectives Coach

After completing this class my first semester at Susquehanna University, I was selected to be a coach for incoming students. During that time I guided 2 groups of 5 first-year business students to present company recommendations to alumni and professors and navigate the rigorous coursework. These presentations were highly competitive using advanced public speaking techniques and professionalism. I attended multiple sessions to edit APA business research documents and offer suggestions to business concepts. Digital Marketing Intern

Working remotely with another country across the ocean was challenging but rewarding. Using Google Meets and WhatsApp, I could communicate daily despite time zones and language barriers. During the internship I helped develop an interactive map to promote local restaurants, hotels and business for tourists to visit in Sorrento. I learned of many small business techniques such as the importance of engagement on social media with Facebook. By measuring analytics provided by Facebook we could see what wording, hashtags and content works best for our audience. Show less

Digital Marketing Intern

In the midst of the pandemic, the Delaware Farm Bureau needed a marketing intern to help with the transition of grants to a virtual experience. One grant in particular originally offered a in-school experience with a ag-correct children's book. I helped to film 12 recordings of readings for YouTube to be accessed by any school not allowing visitors for the upcoming school year. Another grant focusing on advertising specialty crops required designing 23 digital campaigns using Adobe Illustrator for iHeartRadio. I also implemented my own project during this time focusing on eating local through farm stands in Delaware. Each one was highlighted on our Instagram and Facebook pages. I consistently updated the website using WordPress, and took daily calls and conversations with potential and current members of the organization. Towards the end of the summer I helped to create requirements for future interns at the Delaware Farm Bureau and advise the marketing manager on plans for the future of the organization. Show less

This position was focused on data and meticulous analysis for exhibitors. I worked with my team to use the Verizon Cloud technologies and iPads throughout 270 acres of fairgrounds to real-time results and analysis for competitive exhibits. ShoWorks Software Database was required to record entries, create reports and upload to multiple Superintendents. The position required interpersonal skills as the training of cloud software was introduced to 50+ volunteers and over 1000 professional phone calls and mail merges were communicated with volunteers and exhibitors.
