I managed Rupert, in our relationship, we shared many projects and challenges such as creating a state-of-the-art experimentation architecture for web, improving the performance of our site and enabling hyper growth in our team (1 to 18 engineers). He was performing great and always offered an interesting point of view to our debates, also he was very proactive in our ideation and refinement sessions. I'd like to highlight how reliable he is: our team faced the challenge of growing really fast and, as a manager, I delegated big parts of that to him. The result was amazing, he took full ownership of onboarding, providing, guiding and managing two teams (sequentially) of external developers, while reporting advances adequately.
