I worked for John whilst rolling out training for a new in-house resource management system. As a director John worked strategically and was able to get the very best out of his team and one of his strengths was to understand the skills of his team members and to ensure they had opportunities to work on projects where they flourished. It's not often that I have met an extremely technically skilled colleage who also has first class skills in project management, managing and motivating a very large team and who was able to manage influentially both upwards and downwards. John is also a genuinely nice guy who is able to understand and support his colleagues with their own challenges having done most of their roles at some point before. A multitasking director, John led a team with passion which in turn ensured real tangible outcomes for the business, hitting deadlines that many of us would consider unachievable.
