During this time I also worked as a parcel sorter at the Royal Mail - a temporary role with infrequent shifts to supplement my earnings. (I later took on a more reliable steady role at Travis Perkins.) Entering into 2019, I came across the opportunity to achieve my bucket-list dream of volunteering and working abroad.
