As a Financial controller for a leading multi-national conglomerate, I supervise and motivate a cross-functional team of 5 direct-reporting staff members within budgeting, financial planning, and reporting departments. I am responsible for financial subsidiaries in Luxembourg, Uzbekistan, and Germany and overseeing the Group’s yearly budgeting and forecasting processes. I also serve as the main point of contact between 10-15 other controller personnel of the Group’s companies.I am most proud of being appointed as Project Leader by the Holding Audit Committee for the Tekfen Construction Internal Audit Implementation project, in charge of analyzing and preparing new project forecasting and business plans.

As an Auditing Manager, I managed a team of up to 15, directing and performing audits per IFRS and ISA standards. I was also responsible for managing client budgets and performing and analyzing financial systems. During audits, I uncovered misstatements, financial information, and severe control deficiencies. After starting as an intern, I received an offer to stay on as an Auditor, then received a final promotion to Auditing Manager.I am most proud of when I executed a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) process at BIST as a Project Leader. I prepared a thorough and efficient audit of Tekfen Group’s financial statements.
