Learned and practised the art and science of full-stack web development at expert-led market research service provider GapFish GmbH.Being part of the internal GapFish development team, I took over feature development and maintenance tasks using Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, MongoDB, HTML5, CSS, Docker and JavaScript in a TDD & agile development workflow. We migrated the application to Rails 4.2, continually optimized performance of the Rails/MongoDB stack, built our own proprietary user management solution, migrated the internal user authentication to OAuth and created a fully functioning MVP as lightweight mobile app (Android & iOS with Sinatra backend hosted on Heroku) for a pilot customer, who released this app to all of their customers in Germany.
