Rosmary Conte PMP®
Karla was an excellent project management instructor at Langara College and a long time volunteer in the CWCC Programs Portfolio. She is a dedicated and committed instructor and has been a wonderful friend and colleague while we both volunteered for the PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter.

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Karla Claros, Program Manager. I worked with Karla from August 20L5 to September 2077 in program to redesign and implement a financial chart of accounts while upgrading Simon Fraser University's PeopleSoft Finance modules and then implementing Oracle's Hyperion Budgeting System. ln addition, Karla had to ensure that over 30 campus wide systems smoothly integrated with the new chart of accounts. Karla was the project manager reporting to the Program Director and was responsible for leading several project teams of over 70 internal staff and consultants. Budget was tight and the timeline tighter. Karla's management of these projects was exemplary. Karla's technical project management expertise is excellent; however, it is her personal leadership skills that are truly impressive. She takes the time necessary to develop her teams into a cohesive focused unit using a unique combination of education, motivation and humour. Over my career, I have worked on over 100 projects and as an independent organization al development and change consultant and have collaborated with a multitude of project managers from many backgrounds from many sectors. Karla will always have my highest respect and admiration for her skill and style. She loves this work; her passion shows, and she has the unique gift of being able to bring people together to accomplish the organization's goals.
