(2013 – 2014) Chief Financial Officer (Secondment) - Green Eagle Group Green Eagle Group (GEG) is a joint venture (JV) between Louis Dreyfus Commodities and an Indonesian conglomerate, Rajawali Corpra. I was seconded to the JV to take the senior leadership role representing LDC, as CFO. GEG is a 250,000ha Palm Plantation Company managing $700m in plantation, milling, composting and bulking assets. This role was responsible for leading a team of 130 people, consolidating 14 onshore and 4 offshore entities, and taking ultimate responsibility for the accounting, business analysis, tax, treasury, internal audit, corporate governance, information technology and human resource functions of GEG. (2012 – 2013) Chief Financial Officer (Indonesia) Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer for LDC Indonesia and the Regional CFO for Asia, this pivotal role was responsible for managing a team of 15 finance and IT professionals and for the delivery and preparation of the reporting results, and the provision of support to management, trading and operations through the analysis of data. I was also responsible for identifying areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, the annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and for the periodic analysis of operational performance.
