During my time at Studio Robazzo, I've had the opportunity to work on incredible projects for a wide variety of clients. No two days at Robazzo are the same and my job duties reflect this - I regularly work across multiple disciplines from Industrial Design to Graphic Design and Manufacture/Fabrication. Responsibilities so far have varied by project, from supporting in specific areas and aspects in some, to fully managing the design, development and installation in others. Having such a range of duties and projects has afforded me the opportunity to develop a vast amount of skills, experience and knowledge which have enabled me to become an even more well rounded and effective Industrial Designer.

Recruitment Consultant

I worked temporarily as a Recruitment Consultant whilst searching for a Graduate job within the Design Industry. A typical day consisted of looking through applications, sourcing potential candidates, screening and booking them in for assessment, preparing them for interview, offering successful candidates employment and guiding them through the process up until their first day of work.Although this experience was not design related, it helped me develop skills which I believe will be beneficial within any working environment, such as interpersonal skills, customer service, general organisation and admin.

Graduating from the renowned Design For Industry Course at Northumbria University. My four years at Northumbria focussed on improving myself and my skills through software classes, group projects, competition projects, working with industry leading companies through set briefs, internships with various brands/businesses and working on multiple self-led individual design projects.I was also involved in societies and events outside of my course such as NUOVO Young Entrepeneurs Society and taking part in business workshops and networking events with the Northumbria Enterprise Unit.

Completing an internship within the award winning in-house design studio at GROHE, assisting colleagues with their design projects alongside working on my own. Highlights include attending the Red Dot design awards as part of the team and presenting my complete internship project to the Vice Principal of Design. I spent three months working as a junior designer/Design Intern for the startup Ami, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Working as part of a small team, I helped to design and develop the 'Little Explorer' locating device for children, as well as its packaging and branding.
