Byron was the lead instructor while I was teaching assistant for General Assembly's UX immersive course. Byron has a rare ability to provide structured organization that still allows space for levity and fun. It's not easy to strike a balance between these two poles, but when that's done, you get the best and most enjoyable of working environments. Byron also brought a kind and supportive demeanour to his approach to mentorship and guidance - always being there to listen to my needs and objectives, coaching me with his advice and wisdom, all while being down to earth and open enough for feedback and discourse.

Oliver Shaw

Byron is at the top of his field - with encyclopedic knowledge and experience of UX research. He strongly advocates for the user by employing sound user-centered research and evidence to underpin design decisions. Byron is a great team leader, both imaginative and programmatic and someone I enjoyed working with, learned a lot from and would highly recommend.
