I now work as the Events Officer for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health which is housed in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London. With the rest of the Events Team, I am responsible for providing the 14,000+ members of our organisation with industry-leading SRH events. The events offering for our members is expanding going into 2023, and my main duties include planning this new offering, events logistics and delivering events, post-event content editing for online consumption, streamlining existing processes, and data management and reporting. I worked with the Careers & Entrepreneurship Team at the University of Sussex. I supported the team to facilitate campus events and talks from a wide range of employers, to give our students the best possible exposure to graduate opportunities, internships and placements with top organizations. I helped to organise one of the biggest graduate recruitment fairs in the South of the UK, as well as our smaller fairs throughout the year. This involved liasing with top graduate organisations, as well as all event logistics. I also managed the admin of hundreds of events a year on our CRM.My role focussed heavily on attention to detail, deadline management, communication skills, data analysis, CRM management, as well as all the necessary skills to plan, facilitate and deliver top class events. My main duty were to create a database of "good news" stories from Sussex graduates that had fed back to the team that they had secured work off the back of using the Careers services. I was also tasked with clearing bounceback emails from the events mailing lists, as well as other data cleaning.This was a temporary role, in which time I decided that I would apply to interview for the permanent position of Events & Marketing Administrator when it became availiable.
