I had the privilege of working with Paul as both a teammate and mentor. Paul’s ability to plan and execute complex technical projects involving multiple internal and external groups with varying schedule and agendas is truly exceptional. Paul provides leadership in creating and managing project plans to execution. When anyone in our organization had a question – we all knew that we could go to him to not only get it answered, but explain and teach in detail so that we understood. He understands complex technical issues and can articulate those issues in clear business terms to non-technical users, which facilities his constant communications between Engineering, Product Marketing, Customers, Partners, Sales, Professional Services, and executive staff. He is a stimulating source of creative and innovative ideas which brings out the best resources of all parties involved in project planning and execution, and helps free up obstacles which periodically arise in group projects. Paul communicates clearly and frequently, and follows up with efficient, timely, and detailed documentation. His grasp of planning tools and processes is complex and sophisticated. There are select people in any organization who you can trust to carry the full responsibility of planning, managing, and executing large projects involving multiple players, and Paul is one of those individuals. It’s no surprise that Paul continues to move up in more challenging roles, and even though we no longer are on the same team, I know that I can still always approach him to help me out.
