As a volunteer at Kids in Distress, I worked with the marketing staff to help raise much-needed funds for the nonprofit organization. My duties included fundraising, giving speeches to donors, and educating the community on the many services KID offers. I also assisted the staff with the many charity events that need to be organized, as well as interacted with the youth who live or visit the Fort Lauderdale Campus.
