Founded in 1946, PGAL is an international design firm specializing in architecture, planning, interiors, engineering for a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. -Generated design diagrams, plans, renderings, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketchup Pro. -Evaluated architectural designs to ensure building code and other site parameter compliance. -Assisted with spatial planning of commercial, governmental, institutional, master planning, and mixed-use projects. -Researched and recommend materials and best applications. -Performed site evaluations to monitor compliance with design documents. -Attended client and proposal meetings. As a volunteer at Kids in Distress, I worked with the marketing staff to help raise much-needed funds for the nonprofit organization. My duties included fundraising, giving speeches to donors, and educating the community on the many services KID offers. I also assisted the staff with the many charity events that need to be organized, as well as interacted with the youth who live or visit the Fort Lauderdale Campus.
