She is a wonderful mentor and does a fantastic job of educating and training stakeholders, including political leaders. She has been highly influential in building resilience towards the challenges of climate change and sea level rise throughout communities across the globe. As a testament to her dedication and effort, President Obama recognized Baja for her outstanding work empowering low-income and underserved communities to prepare for and adapt towards climate change.
