Pradipta Mukherjee
Prithwish Ganguli is an expert lawyer with superb criminal-management-talent! I needed his law expertise while buying an apartment in South Kolkata in June 2015. He helped me with property search reports and all other documentation needed to ensure buyer security. This was especially important since I was buying a resale property, already 10 years old. My seller was all along troublesome, but I ignored her tantrums in the beginning because I really liked the apartment. However, she turned out to be a criminal trying to falsify the title deed on the registration day! She tried to pass a colour xerox copy of the title deed as the original. I had a loan from a private bank and the bank's lawyer and other officials claimed to have verified all documents before approving my loan. But their incompetence was not only appalling, but the fact that the bank took about Rs 12,000 from me as legal verification fees, was disgusting because I received no legal help from the bank. No one, including me, could understand how a reputable bank can sanction a loan without properly verifying original documents especially when they are charging a fee for doing this job. Anyway, Prithwish Ganguli saw through the entire hassle and made sure I got everything from the seller before the sale actually happened. His expertise in handling property criminals like my seller even ensured that I get all documentation and physical possession of the apartment way before the actual registration happened. I salute Mr Ganguli for his expertise and skill in handling such deplorable property criminals. Today I live in this beautiful apartment, thanks to Mr Ganguli, and I impatiently await its mutation in my favour which is also being handled by him.
