Bio
Ashley (AJ) Motia
Sydney took public relations courses I taught at Purdue Fort Wayne. She was an exemplary student: always turned great work in on time and engaged in productive, respectful conversations with her fellow students about the class material. Part of our work was to analyze and develop PR campaigns. Sydney showed curiosity and critical thinking, as well as clear retention of the coursework in her analysis and creativity. She is a skilled writer and researcher, who understands the value and role of public relations within the world of communication. Her writing style in class was authoritative yet easy to read—rooted in research but also best practices we learned about in class. And Sydney approached each assignment as an opportunity to explore a new challenge facing organizations and publics. That curious enthusiasm can't be taught.

As a current Co-Worker of Sydney's at TC Dance in Kendallville, I can confidently recommend Sydney as a dance teacher. Sydney is a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate dance teacher. She is a true team player and is always willing to cover other teachers' classes when they are sick or going on vacation. She has great communication skills and is able to effectively teach her students new skills and develop already existing skills in them. She always comes to her classes prepared with her teaching materials for the class. She always has her choreography that she will be teaching planned out or other activities planned to help them improve their dancing. Sydney is a positive influence and a great role model for her students. Her passion of dance is evident through her teaching, and she is instilling that same passion and love for dance that she has in her students.
