Malaria No More UK is bold mission is in our name. We are a UK charity determined to end one of the World’s oldest killer diseases and to stop children dying from malaria. We work with partners to end a disease that kills one child every two minutes and yet which costs as little as £1 to treat, driving forward the global effort to reduce malaria deaths by 90% by 2030 and end malaria in a generation.I am responsible for leading Malaria No More UK's fundraising, supporting a team of two other staff and several senior volunteers as we identify and forge successful partnerships with businesses, individuals and foundations that have the power to save lives and to end a global killer disease. Current initiatives include:- A successful multi-year partnership with Fever-Tree that in April 2017 saw £200k donated to MNM UK through a #MixingOneMillion G&Ts fundraising and awareness campaign.- On-going partnerships with Rentokil Initial plc and Jack Wills. In 2017 Rentokil Initial marked having donated a tremendous £150,000 to help fight malaria to date.- Successful online auction of the shirt Andy Murray wore during his victory at Wimbledon in 2016, raising £10,000 and significant awareness of the charity and cause.- The launch of the Malaria No More Leaders' Circle inspiring corporate and high value individuals to become part of our work to end malaria in our lifetimes.Partners wishing to help make malaria no more should please get in touch.

My role at Malaria No More UK developed from acting as sole fundraiser just one year after the charity's launch, to managing a team of two as new supporters and partners joined our mission - inspired by the opportunity to help save lives from a disease that can be prevented with a mosquito net costing just £5 to buy, deliver and hang. Major partners to work with us on fundraising initiatives during this time have included:Deutsche Bank whose staff voted us as a Charity of the Year Partner for 2014.Jack Wills who have raised over £250,000 through Cause Related Marketing 2011-2016. GSK's Panadol brand who raised £100,000 in 2013 by donating 5p for every pack sold during April and May 2013.Global Poverty Project's Live Below the Line campaign which raised £38,000 and £44,500 in 2012 and 2013 to fight malaria.Standard Chartered, who donated high-value Liverpool FC prizes which were auctioned online for more than £26,000 (2011).
