After one year of inactivity, I was in charge of bringing Hult Prize back on campus. For the 2022-2023 academic year: I spearheaded the marketing of this program and was able to reach over 5,000 students on campus. We have 17 teams registered which is a record high for Rutgers. This equals 70 students registered to make an impact. I have also collaborated with the Deans of Mason Gross School of the Arts and the Rutgers Business School. I planned and hosted two workshops, both of which had 30-40 people in attendance. I collaborated with another club to co-host one of the workshops. I assisted in planning the On-Campus competition, which will expect 100 people in attendance. I was able to expand my network by reaching out to people in the industry and different universities to bring them on as judges. Show less

I am a part of the Innovation Design Entrepreneurship Academy; a 4-year program to develop the entrepreneurial mindset. Through this program (Fall 2020), I worked on a design sprint affiliated with the U.S Census Bureau to come up with a way to raise awareness about air pollution. I worked in a team of other Rutgers IDEA students and professionals at the US EPA. We created a website which talks about the impacts of air pollution. I contributed to the website by doing some research on air pollution and creating the story to put on the website. The website is still in the works. (Spring 2021), I worked on a small project affiliated with a university in Hong Kong to design transparent masks for the hard-of-hearing community. As a team member, I helped to brainstorm ideas for a transparent mask. At the end of the workshop, I took on the role to construct the mask on behalf of my group.
