Cut my accelerated training and bootcamp teeth, training and sales, signed up for a class in Novell 3.12, ended up as the lead trainer, was about two months ahead, and started training and pitchng the same class track I was "sitting", two months gap to stay ahead of where I was at in my own exam passing progress, then added NT 4.0, CCNA, 2000, Net+/A+, etc, simple dealio, if I kept passing, and stayed ahead of it all, I got to keep teaching, for killer money, (no pressure there... pshh, pressure? ;-) Bob and Don Gardner, CCR, opened my eyes to this business, and got me on the path to over 100 certs and exams. Now that is what makes me that guy. Always remember where you came from and how you got where you are. Kung Fu means Hard Work. May Your Kung Fu Be Strong.

Got my first Cisco certs, CCNA and ACRC, way back when, after taking some most excellent hands-on classes from Walt Mattison, at Lighthouse, (I think Walt was the guy that actually invented the internet, or at least built it...!) then I got to build my first CCNA and ACRC "condensed" courses, and started teaching CCNA and ACRC clients for Walt and Lighthouse (Thanks Walt...!!!) Adult Education at its finest. Hardest interview I ever saw up to that time, stadium style seating classroom, half packed, 30 minutes on RIP Routing, presented to the heads of what seemed to be every department, mostly non-technical, with a test for them all at the end. If they all pass, and if all give the thumbs up, you get the gig. LOL.(...Got the gig). Cisco and Microsoft instructor, for BU, yah mon, looks phat on my resume, or what.
