Through this research placement, I conducted research on the way certain heritage sites which relate to the slave trade legacies in the East Midlands area in the UK, influence the targeted visitors which come from African Caribbean roots, helping them reconnect with their hidden history. The project aimed to revitalize the cultural and touristic area of Muharaq , and my part included designing street Furniture and design street elements as part of the new design.
