I work on the financial statement review of Vocational Training Center (VTC) where Ryan Meyer is the Finance Director, so I have observed his work first hand and can attest to the quality and accuracy of his work. In the 3 years that I have performed the review, Ryan was the leader in numerous changes in the financial accounting processes of VTC including a change in accounting systems to Microsoft Dynamics, in which he developed a new chart of accounts that effectively outline the organization's structure from a reporting perspective. His new account structure helps to provide useful information for the organization as revenues and expenses could be more accurately tracked. Also, in my work with Ryan, he has shown a continuous ability to find ways to improve processes through producing spreadsheets to reconcile the accounts to discover errors in the reporting and find solutions. In solving these problems, Ryan has significantly improved the accounting function by making it more efficient to produce timely financial reports for management review. Another change implemented by Ryan was to update to the reviewed annual financial statements to align with VTC's internal financial statements to make the reviewed financial statements more relevant to management and the Board of Directors. Finally, I have observed Ryan's attention to detail as he is meticulous when it comes accurately reporting the financials and ensures that all the accounts are properly reconciled. I strongly recommend Ryan from my review of his work over the past 3 years.
Ross Almlie
Ryan's skill set for our needs at Breadvault fit perfectly. We hired him as CFO for financial planning analysis, but he also helped us tremendously with product development and business strategy. Ryan has a unique combination of being detail-oriented but also visionary in his business acumen. He was a huge asset to our start-up business and his passion for our mission was always evident.
