Working in admissions I covered every duty at the front gate, selling tickets, bag check, turnstiles, special events admissions, and my favorite administering non-compensational surveys as the guests left the park. Each job had its own challenges. While selling tickets we worked with EZ Pay customers who have to be researched through a system to ensure all personnel holding the tickets have paid their dues on time. We also sold year passports, having to check EZ Pay history and working with their contact information. I sold single day passes and even made reservations for tours and events. At bag check, not only were you looking for hazardous materials, but plastic lids, straws, and bread to ensure that our animals were in a healthy environment and on a healthy diet. Turnstiles had to count everyone coming in and out of the park, help with directions, report problems, etc. Surveys were the hardest, pulling in guests to ask them about their day and what we could improve on throughout our parks, without a price in return. One night I pulled in 55 out of the 60 surveys needed personally and we even finished early! Show less
