I had the pleasure of working with Shawn, acting as his Short Term Mentor, while he was a WillowTree Apps. One thing that repeatedly struck me about Shawn is his drive for improvement and growth. He continually strived to learn new skills and looked for ways in which he could improve the day to day for his project team and QA team as a whole. He and another QA Engineer spearheaded an effort to evaluate and trial a different test case/plan tool, leading presentations to senior staff and teammates, co-orchestrating the trial, answering questions, and more to help the team determine if they agreed that the tool would prove to be a helpful improvement (they agreed!). Shawn is an intelligent and driven Engineer and will be an asset to any team lucky enough to count him among them!
