Guest Attendant
-
Jul 2019 - Jan 2020
As a member of the Guest Attendant team, my responsibilities included greeting guests, providing course orientation, equipment management, as well as facilitating consistent communication with the golf pro-shop. Another aspect of the job was working inside the pro-shop and engaging with customers directly at the point of sale. This required managing the reservation system, checking guests in, collecting fees, answering phones, accounting for sales merchandise, and maintaining inventory records of products sold. My overall responsibility at the Presidio was to ensure each golfer’s expectations were met consistently through clear communication and a high level of guest care. • Stocked, cleaned, organized, and distributed rental club inventory worth north of $20,000. • Upsold rental merchandise, golf equipment, as well as range access, and golf lessons.

YMCA After School Sport Program Coordinator
-
Jul 2017 - Feb 2018
I was responsible for coordinating and managing a team of six employees that oversaw three different elementary after-school sports programs with student sizes ranging from 30-50. In this position I gathered and logged program payment from students and parents, collected daily student entrance and exit attendance sheets, collected and maintained health and allergy records of students, and delivered sports equipment and snacks to program sites. Additionally, with the help of the program director I was tasked with distributing resources and balancing a budget related to sports equipment and food. When on site I was also the liaison between the YMCA and the parents of children enrolled in the after-school sports programs. The after-school programs were successful in teaching social, developmental, and sports skills to children ranging in ages from 5 - 12. My team successfully introduced the children to soccer, basketball, flag football, and field hockey. The program outcomes achieved by the students included increased success in school, the development of leadership traits, an increase in diversity acceptance, as well as an improved resilience in the face of challenges.

Sales Floor Associate

Apr 2016 - Jan 2017
As a member of the Big 5 sales team I was responsible for stocking the store, helping customers with any questions or concerns they may have, and also taking on special in store projects when necessary. I frequently built creative in store advertisement displays in accordance with the Big 5 weekly ad that enticed customers and effectively met bi-weekly sales goals. In addition to working on the sales floor I also spent a large amount of time cashiering. While cashiering I was responsible for upselling related merchandise across different departments, assisting customers with sign up for the weekly ad, as well as account management for Big 5 customers who owned fishing/hunting licenses that needed to be modified or renewed.

Summer Intern

Jun 2011 - Jun 2011
The summer after my sophomore year of high school, I served as a content editor for the twitter accounts feeding into the Bleacher Report My Teams Pages. It was my job to identify twitter users that were reporting on specific teams in the MLB, NBA, and NFL. Once finding them, I integrated their twitter accounts into the individual BR Team Streams to improve the up to the second sports news that fans crave.
