I had the absolute pleasure of working with Tuan Tran from September 2022 until January 2023. He took over as the lead Flutter Developer of SnapEx and he completely turned the SnapEx user experience on mobile around. After September 2022, the senior management team at SnapEx made the decision to move the tech team to Vietnam and it is something that, having seen the performance of the Vietnam tech team, I can safely say I wish I undertook the decision much sooner than it was taken. The SnapEx mobile app previously had a lot of issues. It was laggy, lacked the features that were available one the SnapEx web version, and previously had a lot of bugs which the users found very frustrating. App Store policies would naturally throw a wrench in the works, and Tuan's knowledge of this area saved us a lot of hassle. Overall, Tuan came in and turned everything around. Our customer service team would log the number of user complaints about the two versions. After Tuan took over, user complaints became non-existent, which is genuinely to his immense credit. He approaches problems and is capable of making sure that they are explained in a very clear and direct way, that anyone from a technical or a non-tech background could easily understand. On a personal level, Tuan is an enthusiastic, diligent, and hardworking individual. He is very caring of other staff members and built a fantastic rapport with his colleagues in Vietnam and Hong Kong.
