React Node Full Stack Developer

When I was hired to work at Rugged Books, we were 5 employees and the entire operational and inventory process was controlled in Excel spreadsheets. As we grew, I realized the potential to improve the company's processes, and I made myself available to develop a system to meet this necessit. When we received permission from the company, a co-worker and I started to develop the system, me as the main developer and he, who had been working longer and knew the processes better, as a business analyst, but also as a developer. We chose to use the Javascript stack, with Node, React and React Native, with Postgresql as the database. Some interesting features I used are process execution queue management with Redis, in this case we use it to send emails and access other APIs, Context in the Front end, integration with other systems, such as QuickBooks, ShipStation and Amazon. Today the system is used by more than 40 users. Technologies that were used in the back-end are NodeJS, Express.js, Sequelize (PostgreSQL), Redis. Integration using Axios with Amazon, ShipStation, Dell, via API. The front-end is in React, with Redux and Styled-components. I was responsible for the DevOps as well. I used Docker, initially I was using Buddy.Works to automate deployment, then I migrated to GitHub Actions. Our backed was hosted at DigitalOcean, and later migrated to Azure.
