  Rutgers University Pre Dental Society is an organization that exposes undergraduate students to resources, knowledge, and opportunities in the dental field. Our mission is to inform the Rutgers Student population about the options of dentistry as a health profession and all that is needed to be a competitive and successful applicant. We do so by visiting Dental Schools and by having general meetings where important topics are presented by us or by guest speakers ranging from local faculty to Admissions Directors from local Dental Schools. As the community service chair for the Rutgers University Pre Dental Society I organize, plan, and schedule community service events throughout the year. In this role, I collaborate with Elementary schools like Roosevelt Elementary school and Soup Kitchens like Elijah's promise in order to successfully serve individuals in the community. Some events include Give Kids a Smile, serving the homeless during the holidays, adopting a family during the holidays, teaching young students about oral health, etc. - Aided in planning and executing community service events - Make and distribute goodie bags with tooth brushes, toothpaste, and floss to teach children the important of oral health - Recruited members for the Pre Dental Society -Attended monthly meetings with other executive members to discuss agendas Show less

  Sterilization Laboratory Assistant Kidzdent is a privately owned pediatric dental practice in Old Bridge New Jersey. At Kidzdent, we care for you and your family through comprehensive pediatric dentistry, special needs dental care, and orthodontics. Dentists in the practice have all specialized in pediatrics as well as orthodontics. At Kidzdent I primarily work as a sterilization laboratory assistant. There I continuously ensure that instruments are sterilized, assist doctors or dental hygienist, use Dentrix to navigate practice and address patient complaints.
