I had the pleasure of coaching Marissa while she was an intern at Wyndham during the summer of 2018. From our first meeting and after learning she was pursuing two majors simultaneously along with her extracurricular activities, I knew I was dealing with a high performer and leader. I had a feeling she was going to be one of the leaders of her group and that she was! Her positive attitude, ambition, and commitment was clear in each meeting and any direction or advice I provided she ensured was reviewed and followed. Along with leading, she was also inquisitive which ensured her team’s achievements by asking the right questions. All of these attributes led to the success of the team’s capstone project AND a job offer to return to Wyndham upon graduation. Any organization would be lucky to have Marissa as a part of their team.

Marissa has proven to be a hardworking and dedicated team member. I had the opportunity to work with Marissa at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts during her summer internship and then again in her most recent position with revenue management. Marissa demonstrated a deep knowledge of her analytics, revenue management and a natural ability to share her expertise in a pleasant and understandable manner. We worked together for nearly a year and were able to develop and execute many collaborative cross-functional team initiatives that drove revenue management strategy and corporate results. I have enjoyed working with Marissa during her time at Wyndham. She is dedicated and shows tremendous commitment to the organization and always willing to step up when called upon. Marissa’s qualities specifically strategic thoughtfulness, attention to detail and empathy for others make her an incredible asset in any organization.
