Worked with my friend and colleague, George Howard, to develop a focused and effective social media strategy for Wolfgang's Vault (http://www.wolfgangsvault.com) and Daytrotter (http://www.daytrotter.com). The highlight and success of this initiative was finding a way to integrate these new marketing methods into the systems already in place (so that they would be sustainable after the consulting period ended). As an intern for the Sound Department (Post Production) at Fox, I worked primarily on the Newman Scoring Stage (http://www.foxmusic.com/newman.asp). I assisted with stage setup and tear down before and after sessions and was responsible for ensuring client satisfaction during sessions (yes, this included making coffee!). Throughout my internship, I had the opportunity to observe the work flow through post production (from foley, ADR, etc. to the dubbing stages) for many feature films. Alan Ett Creative Group is the umbrella name for a group of companies located in Studio City, CA, dedicated to excellence in sound and music production and audio post production. The Music Collective is a full-service music production company. Media City Sound is an audio post production facility. AECG Entertainment works with clients to leverage IP in unique, interesting ways while utilizing emerging technology. Opus1 Music Library is one of the world's premier, independent music libraries. Opus 19 Music handles exploitation, administration, and collection on behalf of commercial music publishing and master catalogs. During my internship, I had the opportunity to engage in each of these unique companies and see how they each integrate uniquely to form a cohesive and highly successful operation. From spotting music for television shows and filling out cue sheets to organizing and tagging additions to the already vast music library, my experience at AECG was incredibly educational and hands-on.
