AmpCool is also used as a lubricant, coolant, and hydraulic fluid in Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems used in high-performance hybrid, electric, formula 1 and Formula E race cars. So why am I so excited about our products? Well,... Dielectric means that our coolants do not conduct electricity. In fact, you can put two electrodes 2mm apart in our fluids and run over 60kV through them without any conduction, that makes our fluids amazing electrical insulators! In addition they have over 1600X the heat density of air. That means you can actually full submerge your active electronics directly in our coolants without any complicated and costly cold plates or plumbing on the devices! The benefit? Super high performace cooling with significantly lower costs! Cooling with full fluid immersion in ElectroCool requires only 3% of the cooled energy (that's right for each 100W of cooling we only use 3W to cool it!) and its the same for 1 server to 100K's.
