Justyna is a true catalyst! Her inspiring passion for the craft of game design, storytelling, and UX was crucial for the product's success. She continuously turned abstract game visions into tangible prototypes and helped the whole team to reach ambitious goals. I am super happy and grateful that we were partners on this journey, and I can't wait until our paths cross again.

Justyna was a joy to work with! She came onto the project as a talented graphic artist, we connected very well and worked together naturally. Her great knowledge of games and her curiosity were key to the project's creation. As she picked up more game design responsibilities, she restructured the game, efficiently integrating new fun puzzles while maintaining the workflow for other departments. I hope to work with her again in the future!

I started an official site for Global Game Jam in Umeå. Being the main organizer in a world-scale events requires coordinating skills and time management to handle all tasks required for organization of the venue, communication with participants and other global organizers while maintaining my full-time studies at Umeå Institute of Design. I was in charge of finding the content for the magazine, and scheduling graphic designers each week. I would later evaluate if design and format are suitable for printing, then print it and distribute it every Monday morning.

As graphic designer my task was to lay out provided content into weekly 8-page magazine (striving to make each week visually unique). The design would have to be complete within 2 days, and prepared in a format suitable for printing as well as digital distribution.Digital archive: http://www.uid.umu.se/en/for-our-students/wozzop/

During the internship I focused on developing skills in responsive web design and learning more about branding. Within the two month I created two functional web design concepts, including design for both desktop and mobile, and HTML/CSS as well as logos and business cards. I was creating simple personal website and blog templates as commissions as well as running free blog templates site. I learned working with Adobe Photoshop for design and later making them functional in HTML 4.0, XHTML 1.0 and CCS 2.1, supporting multiple browsers and validating them with available online tools.
