Don is a force as he combines great intellect with a dynamic personality. I have had the pleasure of working with Don on the Texas Historical Foundation Board and have the upmost respect for him.

Don & I worked on a new start up non-profit board which built Frontier Texas in Abilene, Texas. Don was responsible for many of the exhibits being historically correct, authoring a book titled: Frontier Texas for the grand opening. The project cost was close to $10million, and is now seen by 1,000's of people per month traveling through our region. Don provided vision & leadership in seeing this product come together and established our city as a destination for regional history.
