This includes developing a thorough understanding of the campus data governance and the needs of stakeholders across the state-wide higher education community. Lead the development of key project deliverables and artifacts such as business requirements, functional design documents, and data models. Provide analysis and recommendations regarding campus-wide data management. Direct the efforts to maintain a high level of data integrity within core entity records across primary departments (i.e. IT, HR and IR). Provide expertise and work direction for data and application services personnel to understand business goals, needs, and requirements for campus-wide data interoperability and system functionality integration, Review vendor’s solution specifications for compliance with Minnesota State Colleges and Universities information technology policies. Finalize data-centric test cases and solutions prior to release into production environments. Manage the development and maintenance of process documentation for a range of tasks required to keep data inventory current.
