Administrative Assistant/Client Relations Intern
-
Feb 2022 - Aug 2022
During my junior year of college I interned at Ciclo Wealth, which I had previously worked for having designed the company's logo. I was fortunate enough to be given an internship opportunity so I could gain more professional experience and learn more about careers related to my area of study. During my time at Ciclo Wealth I learned a great deal about client relationship management, and gained experience doing administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, and working with spreadsheets. Notetaker
-
Jan 2021 - May 2021
During my spring semester of 2021, I served as a notetaker in my biweekly Spanish lectures for a fellow student. After each lesson I would compile the material into organized note sheets that I designed to be informative yet easy to comprehend and study from. Then, I uploaded them to an online portal via which the student could access. It was a great way for me to gain experience writing for a specific audience and allowed me to pull from my previous professional experiences in the education field. Show less

Fulfillment Expert
-
Apr 2020 - Aug 2020
After temporarily moving back to Oregon due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a fulfillment expert at Target. Each day I was responsible for completing order pick-ups, which consisted of working with Target's online system to locate and "pick" items from the store which I would then prepare and store for customer pickup. I also frequently fulfilled and packed orders for shipping to other locations. While the fulfillment aspect of the position taught me essential organization and time management skills, I also learned a lot about customer service and organizational communication; customer service was not only an essential skill to have while out on the sales floor, but organizational communication was key during busy store hours when fulfillment issues needed to be sorted out. Overall, my time as a fulfillment expert at Target was a great learning experience, both in managing my own tasks and working at a more self-directed pace, while also being a part of a larger workplace with many departments that all had to function in a synchronized way.
