  As a physics tutor and student assistant, there was a high focus on cultivating a strong line of communication with the students in such a way that they could best understand conceptual situations in the study of physics. With the ability to fully explain how to solve a problem in a multitude of ways, I provided assistance to the student in homework, lab proficiency, report writing, graded feedback, and any other conceptual or classroom problem that the student may experience.

  I conducted research with Concordia College as well as the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) focusing on the operation of the particle detector systems. At Concordia College, I implemented problem solving with the use of theoretical models for the particle detector systems. At Concordia College, I implemented problem solving with the use of theoretical models for the particle detector systems. It was important that when solving this problem, I take care in finding the simplest solution that would minimize potential downtime that the detector system could face. After the research, it was necessary to present both verbal and written explanations of findings to a variety of peers. This included presenting to well established physicists as well as to peers with a minimal physics background.
