The learning I did in Doug's class and the encouragement he gave truly motivated me to experiment, explore, and learn more even after the school day had ended. The atmosphere in his classroom was always friendly and inviting, and the best part of my day. Since having Doug as my instructor, I have continued to pursue a career in design and multimedia and attribute a big part of that to the 2 years I spent learning with him. Tanisha Thomas „I took Mr. Rider's multimedia class in high school (2014-2016), and I gained many skills and opportunities from his class I probably would have never gotten if I did not take it. Mr. Rider is a phenomenal teacher who does a great job of tapping into everyone's strengths and weaknesses. He always made sure to uplift and encourage everyone to do their best on every project we worked on. Without his class, I would not have ended up pursuing journalism as a career. Participating in Business Professionals of America helped me branch out of my shy shell to become the confident and outspoken person I am today. That transition was crucial for me to thrive in my career field and gain the experience I have now. All the skills I learned in his class helped me excel in all my college classes and have valuable skills to present to employers. I always had a blast in his class, and I would recommend anyone to take a class or anything Mr. Rider is teaching or offering because he does an excellent job of making sure students know their potential and go far with it. I am forever thankful I had Mr. Rider as a teacher, and I wish there were more out there like him.
